Haven’t sat down to watch television in a very long time, due to the fact that it’s usually being taken over by the boys and frankly I just don’t have time. Don’t really care for talk shows, unless of course I need a “picker upper”.
Talk shows with topics like “who’s my baby daddy” or “my boyfriend ain’t got no job” really make me count my blessings. (I know who my baby daddy is and I’m fortunate to have a job).
Saw part of a talk show today that caught my attention. This show’s topic was about a newly wed couple, headed straight for divorce, if you ask me. The wife was very controlling. She made her husband dump his old friends, but was nice enough to select new friends for him that met her approval.
He wore the pants in that relationship, she just happened to tell him which pants to wear!
In a relationship you have to be able to let the person “breathe”. By breathe I mean, being able to do the things they used to do before you came into the picture. (guys: this doesn’t mean seeing other people)
When a person forgets who they were before they were in a relationship, then there is a problem.
You can not change a person, this is even more true if the person isn’t willing to change.
Personally, I appreciate feedback. It motivates me to become a better person, when of course feedback is given in a loving manner.
In a relationship, when you point out someone’s flaw. (Could be that they just don’t know any better) It’s not because you want to change that person, but because you want them to become a better person.
Him showing up to birthday parties empty handed because he didn’t have time to buy something or if he constantly visits his sisters’s house ,without taking them a little something (because he doesn’t know any better) Ifeel that it is okay to point it out to him.
Can a person develop new habits? Yes, it will take patience on your part, of course.
A person will develop good habits, because he wants to become a better person. A person should not do it to please someone else.
They say it takes 21 days to develop a new habit. Can you teach an old dog new tricks?

Woof Woof!! I learn a new trick almost every day. Usually it only takes a few swift taps on my snout with a rolled up newspaper. J/k All dogs know all the tricks they are usually just lazy or spoiled. They know what they are supposed to do they just don’t do it. It is up to the individual to want to change
Just roll up the morning paper.
Love Always
